Hi, I'm Chino Berrios, founder of Iron Gate Garage Doors.

Not long after entering the garage door industry, I realized I had found more than just a career—I had found a way to serve people. Every home has a story, and every service call is an opportunity to help someone through a frustrating moment with honesty, compassion, and excellence.

As a man of faith, I spent a lot of time praying about whether starting my own company was the right path. During that season, I felt God calling me to build something that reflected His values: integrity, humility, hard work, and genuine care for others. Choosing to be obedient to that calling is what led to the birth of Iron Gate Garage Doors.

The name Iron Gate carries a special meaning to me. In the Bible, an iron gate symbolizes God's power to open doors that no one else can. In the book of Acts, Peter was miraculously freed from prison, and "the iron gate leading to the city opened for them by itself." (Acts 12:10). To me, that's a reminder that when God calls us to something and we walk in obedience, He makes a way where there seems to be none. It's a symbol of protection, hope, and trusting His direction.

As someone born and raised in Buffalo, it's an incredible privilege to serve the community that helped shape me. My goal has never been to build the biggest garage door company. My goal is to build one that people can trust. Whether it's a simple repair, routine maintenance, or a brand-new garage door installation, I want every customer to know they'll be treated with honesty, respect, and care.
